Consider the following checklist as the nuts and bolts of your wedding preparation. It´s the fool-proof way to prepare for your wedding day. We made sure to cover every detail, so you don´t have to.

- Six to Twelve Months Prior
- Select wedding date
- Think about guest list
- Choose best man and groomsmen
- Nail down budget
- Locate and book wedding site
- Locate and book reception
- Plan honeymoon
- Make hotel arrangements for guests
- Snap photos for engagement announcement
- Mail save-the-date cards
- Pick a florist
- Order invites
- Select a cake
- Hire photographer and videographer
- Make music arrangements for wedding and reception
- Meet and choose suitable officiants: pastor, priest, rabbi, etc.
- Four to Five Months Prior
- Purchase wedding rings
- Inform employer of time off
- Register for wedding gifts
- Reserve wedding night suite
- Assist parents with rehearsal dinner plans
- Select rehearsal dinner and reception menus
- Find creative favors
- Develop wedding program
- Decide on decorations
- Order thank-you cards
- Select readings for ceremony: Scripture, poetry, etc.
- Choose tux for yourself and groomsmen
- Mail tux measurement cards to groomsmen
- Finalize guest list
- Start looking for new house/apt., if necessary
- Set up wedding day transportation
- Get passports squared away
- Two to Three Months Prior
- Meet with officiant to finalize ceremony details
- Mail invites to wedding and rehearsal dinner
- Visit doc, get a physical/blood tests
- One Month Prior
- Take care of legal matters: change of address, insurance, etc.
- Make plans for bachelor party
- Buy gift(s) for bride and wedding party
- Two Weeks Prior
- Celebrate bachelor party
- Verify honeymoon details
- File for marriage license with bride
- Get haircut
- Decide on photography shot list
- One Week Prior
- Organize final tux fittings
- Get cash for honeymoon (not every country has ATMs)
- Pack bags for honeymoon
- Confirm location/time of rehearsal dinner with wedding party
- Arrange for tuxedo return
- Wedding Day
- Bring marriage license
- Give officiant´s payment to best man
- Give ring to best man
- Don´t forget to eat
- Bask in the beauty of your bride!
